Hiram Thomas Weathers, a former well known citizen of Knobview  township died at Floyd, Hunt County, Texas on Feb 26th of concussion of the spine.  The remains were brought to Knobview and interred in the Mounts Cemetery four miles west of Cuba, on last Monday. Members of Cuba Lodge AF&AM of which the deceased was a member performed the sad rites at the grave. HT Weather was born in Putnam County, Indiana in 1827; married Miss Fany Young in 1864 and came to Knobview Township, Crawford County, MO in 1877.  He moved to Hunt County Texas in 1899. He leaves six daughters, two son, 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
